Kam Moye Rocking FYSH "Forever Fresh"

Our homie Kam Moye just released his new video "Forever Fresh" from his Album Splitting Image that released last fall. Please check it out, pick it up at your local Best Buy or other music store. We talk about wanting NC to get some shine and for real Hip Hop to be exposed, so let's support our local artists that truly love and work hard at their craft. Kam is rocking our new Anchor Fitted and DJ Forge is rocking our First in Flight Tee. The video was shot in L.A. last year and directed by Charles Barcelona. Kam recently was up for MTVU's Freshmen 5 a few weeks ago, and although he came in second, due to his unprecedented popularity in the competition, his video for "Let's Be Honest" has been entered into regular rotation on MTVU/MTV2. So please head over to Kam's site and check him out.

Kasina

.: Haven't posted in a long time. It's cuz I've been out here in Korea. Anyway, I'll save the how-its-been-so-far/what-its-like story for another time. Instead I'll post more interestin material, like if I were to visit Seoul, what stores can I hit up? Well, I haven't found a lot, but one that def stands out and which you'll occasionally read about on Bobby's blog, is the boutique Kasina. It carries a lot of the big brands like Stussy, The Hundreds, and Crooks. But I think it's the go-to store for legit street wear here in general. I think their online store has a wider range of brands to choose from. Anyway, dope store worth checking out.

It's in a part of Seoul called "Hongdae", which is short for Hongik University. University in Korean is "daehakyo" or just "dae" for short. Anyway, the school is known for its Arts and Design. Hence the area surrounding the school reflects that - so you'll see a lot of fashionable people, boutiques, arts, music, etc. A hub of creative minds. Hongdae is also known as the "Clubbing District" of Seoul cuz there's hella clubs around. I'll make a club post later. More on Hongdae next time.

stickers.

if you look up, you'll see these huge scale kicks sticking out the wall.

mean-mugging. it was around 3:15pm and they still weren't open, hence, the line. idk if there was a special release that day or not.

Hongik University.

Import Fashion III

The third installment of Import Fashion III will be going down in January. No doubt FYSH will be there to rep our stuff, make some sales, and give away some goodies. Check out the flyer I made for it:

CARISTMAS 2009 was a blast!

Closing out the year, FYSH sponsored End of the Year bash "CARISTMAS 2009" was a blast. Although the turnout would've much bigger had the weather been better, we still had a lot more people come out than expected. Here are some pictures taken by Joe Woo. The rest of the photo series can be found here: http://joebokeh.net/caristmas09/index.html

Side Project

Besides being a part of FYSH, I am also a part of a car club called Team RPM. It's mainly a club of friends and family who's all are into cars. The club started out with me, my brother, and my cousins and we soon included our close friends and now it's gotten pretty popular in NC. Anyways, recently I've put my t-shirt designing skills to good use for the team by designing a mascot and having them printed on some t-shirts. Check it out:

2nd Annual NC Sneaker Summit

The 2nd Annual N.C. Sneaker Summit was this past weekend and the location was shifted to Charlotte, NC. We were expecting a much bigger turnout than last year but we didn't quite bring out the crowd we were hoping. So it's back to the drawing board and figuring out how to draw a bigger crowd for next year. Anyways, here's a recap of the event:

Kenny holding up our new Butcher tee, a collabo we did with our friend Jimmy Nguyen.

Our fitteds stackeddd up for sale:

We had two tables, one for selling shoes from our collection, the other was for selling FYSH stuff.

There was no shortage of heat at this event, all 3 Yeezy's:

Black Supreme blazers, one of my fav sneaker of all time:

Lots and lots of jayheads at the event:

Loons, you don't see those everyday:

Bboys and Bgirls were breaking it down throughout the day for our entertainment:

I was selling some of my own stuff that I didn't wear much anymore:

This display case was packed with some high dollar heat:

A nice display case with some dope Jays:

Another nice display of jays:

Overall, the event had a great showing of vendors. There was good music from the DJ, great entertainment from the breakdancers and emcees, and we met a lot of very cool people. The FYSH table had a good amount of traffic come through and everybody was really feeling the stuff we were producing. In the end, the turnout could definitely be better but Kross and Jimmy made out real good at this year's summit by winning prices from the raffle contest. Jimmy won a rare pair of Jordan III's and Kross won some........K-Swiss, haha. Kross was pretty bummed, but at least he won something. Hopefully next year we can make this event a lot better with a much bigger turnout.
